FULL DAY:
CUSCO – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCOTo kick off our Best Machu Picchu Tour, we’ll pick you up bright and early from your hotel in Cusco. Our journey begins as we travel in a private touristic van to the vibrant town of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley. From there, we’ll board a train bound for Aguas Calientes. The train ride itself is a treat, offering picturesque views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas as it follows the winding path of the river.
Upon reaching Aguas Calientes, our tour guide will be waiting to welcome you. You’ll then head to the bus station for a scenic ride up to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, for your guided tour. This comprehensive tour will last approximately 2 hours, during which you’ll gain insights into the fascinating history of the Incas and explore the most significant areas of the citadel.
In the afternoon, after descending from Machu Picchu via bus to Aguas Calientes, you’ll board the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, our touristic private bus will transport you back to Cusco city, concluding our Best Machu Picchu Tour.
